All Things Landscaping From Flowerbeds To Flagstone

All Things Landscaping From Flowerbeds To Flagstone

Yesterday life slowed down around us for a brief minute.  I laid in the grass with my daughters and we looked up to watch beautiful white flowers float down onto us.  Our giant Crab Apple tree is in full bloom and it looks as though it is snowing when the wind blows and the petals fall down.

This spring we have enjoyed watching so much of our hard work from last summer come to fruition.  Hostas are peeking out through the mulch and the Sedums I found at a roadside stand have already doubled in size from when they were planted.  The rose bushes I so carefully transplanted have survived, the pear tree we moved is looking healthy.  The list goes on and on….my 5 year old daughter and I love to walk the yard and see all the progress.

After all the sweat and tears working on our landscaping, maybe more sweat than tears….the hardest thing is patience!  Everything is so little, but it just takes time for everything to fill in.  In case you missed any of it, I figured it would be fun to take a stroll down memory lane and look at our landscaping journey.

Here is a look at what we have done!  Click on each post to see all the details!

I love the character of landscaping that is unique.  You can tell when a homeowner put so much love into their plants!  After last summer, I also realized that it takes years to have the type of landscape I dream of.  Climbing rose bushes don’t cascade over night!  Create a vision and continue building towards it, be patient and enjoy every step forward!  Thanks for checking out my post!
