30 Day Organizing Challenge

30 Day Organizing Challenge

Are you ready for the 30 day organizing challenge?  I am so excited, it is just what I need!  Clutter stresses me out and I am so ready to clean house!   I mean now that all my kids are in school, I’ll be lucky if there is anything left in the house come April…haha, OK maybe I am not that bad.

I am planning to start on October 1st, but you can start at any time! There is no wrong time to ever start organizing your home…but October is a great month to de-clutter.  It is far enough away from the holidays that you don’t feel pressured, yet close enough that you can see the urgency of making space for all the new presents coming in December. The 30 day organizing challenge will be the perfect way to stay focused and get your house organized!

Life runs so much smoother with an organized home.  No matter what your reasoning, I hope you will join me.

To stay connected on a daily basis and encourage each other, click Here to join my facebook group.  I’ll use that to communicate with everyone during the challenge and show you what areas I’m tackling.  I will try to include some of my organizing tips and highlight products I love to use.

The Organizing Calendar

The 30 day calendar is broken into categories to help everyone stay focused and on track.  The plan is to tackle one organizing challenge each day Monday-Friday and then use the weekends to finish anything that didn’t get done earlier in the week.  I realize that life still goes on, so I hope having the weekends off will help us all stay motivated during the week!

 Clutter Creates Stress

As you tackle areas to organize, consider whether you want to keep, sell or trash an item.  I am actually preparing for a garage sale in the next couple of weeks, so that will be the perfect opportunity to sell all the items that we no longer need.  Selling items at a second hand shop is another great option.  When all else fails, don’t be shy about donating or trashing items. Eliminate the clutter.

If you are unsure how to tackle the areas that need help…check out my post here:
